WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a contract assignment in New York. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented imaging professional skilled in CT procedures, radiation safety, and quality control, who can deliver accurate diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced radiology environment.

Job Description:


Compensation : $65.97 - $70.97

Job Function:

  • Shift: 2x8 Nights

    • Saturday into Sunday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
    • Sunday into Monday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Perform CT imaging procedures using appropriate kV and mA techniques
  • Ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging following established protocols
  • Conduct daily quality control and calibration checks on imaging equipment
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals per physician order and established protocols
  • Verify radiopharmaceutical dosage, activity levels, and proper receipt prior to use
  • Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and charge records in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Report equipment issues promptly and ensure operational readiness
  • Adhere to radiation safety standards and ALARA principles
  • Retrieve and maintain patient imaging records for radiologist interpretation
  • Evaluate and respond to patient needs before, during, and after imaging procedures

Job Requirements:


Job Requirements:

  • Active New York State Radiologic Technologist license (L.R.T) required
  • ARRT certification required (Radiography and CT)
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of CT experience required
  • Graduate of an JCERT-approved Radiologic Technology program required
  • Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and radiation safety (ALARA principles)
  • Ability to perform quality control and equipment calibration checks
  • Experience handling radiopharmaceuticals preferred/required per protocol
