The Estimator is a fully office-based role responsible for preparing accurate, competitive cost estimates and bid proposals for new construction roofing projects. The position primarily focuses on public, municipal, and general contractor opportunities. Acting as a vital internal partner to the estimating team, this individual supports bid strategy, project evaluation, and proposal development to help successfully acquire new business.

Compensation : $90000 - $125000

Job Function:

 

  •  Review and interpret complex construction drawings, project specifications, and bid documentation to perform detailed and accurate material and labor takeoffs.

  • Develop comprehensive pricing models ensuring that all labor, material, subcontractor, and compliance requirements are precisely reflected.

  • Support overall bid strategy and proposal development while strictly managing timelines to ensure accurate and on-time submissions.

  • Partner closely with the internal estimating team and other departments to maintain high bid accuracy and align on project evaluation.

  • Support the pricing of change orders and contribute to the ongoing evaluation of active project costs.

  • Ensure all estimates adhere to public, municipal, and general contractor compliance standards and project requirements.

  • 3+ years of experience
  • New Construction & Public Bid Estimating experience
