Job Function:

• Shift: 8hr Evening or Night Shifts Available (EOW)

  • 2pm to 10:30pm
  • 10:15pm to 6:15am
• Provide direct practical nursing care and treatment to individuals with mental, physical, developmental, and behavioral health needs.
• Implement and monitor nursing care plans, administer medications and treatments, and document care in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Observe, assess, and report changes in resident health status, including obtaining vital signs and collecting specimens.
• Participate in habilitation and rehabilitation programs, supporting residents with daily living, therapeutic, and recreational activities.
• Collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality resident care.
• May serve as charge nurse for a designated care area, overseeing unlicensed personnel and coordinating resident care activities.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide CPR, first aid, and other emergency interventions as needed.
• Perform a variety of clinical procedures, including wound care, catheter care, IV therapy, respiratory treatments, enteral feeding support, specimen collection, and medication administration.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, state regulations, infection control standards, and practical nursing practice guidelines.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing, or a valid non-renewable temporary practice permit.  
• 2+ years of experience preferred
• AHA BLS
