Job Function:

  • Lead and manage sophisticated tax engagements for High Net Worth individuals, families, family offices, trusts, and closely held businesses
  • Review and oversee preparation of complex Individual, Partnership, Trust, Gift, and Estate tax returns
  • Serve as primary relationship manager and trusted advisor to high-net-worth clients and multigenerational families
  • Provide strategic tax planning related to income tax, estate & gift tax, wealth transfer, trusts, and business succession planning
  • Advise clients on tax-efficient investment structures, partnerships, pass-through entities, and philanthropic planning strategies
  • Manage and mentor tax staff, seniors, and managers while fostering professional development and technical growth
  • Research and interpret complex federal, state, and local tax issues and communicate findings to clients and leadership
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys, wealth advisors, bankers, and other external advisors on integrated planning initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve client tax positions, reduce liabilities, and enhance long-term wealth preservation strategies
  • Participate in business development activities including networking, referral generation, and expanding existing client relationships
  • Oversee engagement workflow, budgeting, staffing, and deadlines to ensure exceptional client service delivery
  • Stay current on evolving tax legislation, regulatory changes, and industry trends impacting high-net-worth taxpayers
  • Support firm growth initiatives and contribute to strategic leadership discussions at the Partner level
  • Build and maintain a strong presence within the HNW tax and advisory marketplace

Job Requirements:


Job Requirements:

  • CPA required; MST, JD, or LLM in Taxation preferred
  • 8+ years of public accounting tax experience with significant HNW client exposure
  • Deep experience with Individual, Partnership/K-1, Trust, Gift, and Estate tax matters
  • Proven ability to manage complex client relationships and lead advisory discussions
  • Strong technical tax research, communication, and leadership skills
  • Experience developing business and cultivating referral networks preferred
