WCS Healthcare is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to join a high‑performing L&D team at a respected hospital in Worcester, MA. The ideal clinician is confident in fetal monitoring, labor management, emergency response, and supporting providers throughout the childbirth process.

Job Function:
- Shift: 36 hrs/ 3x12 Nights 6:45a- 7:15p EOW/EOH
- Assess and categorize patients into the appropriate level of care
- Apply and interpret external fetal monitoring, including fetal heart tracings and uterine activity
- Implement timely interventions based on fetal heart rate patterns and maternal condition
- Identify and respond to obstetric emergencies, escalating to providers appropriately
- Administer medications safely in accordance with the Five Rights and infection‑control standards
- Perform pain assessments and reassess per clinical guidelines
- Assist physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care

- Minimum 2+ years of experience with prior travel experience required
- 3 years strongly preferred
- Experience floating between Labor & Delivery and Postpartum required
- Previous Mother/Baby and LDRP experience required
- EPIC charting experience required
- Active Massachusetts RN License required
- BLS required
- ACLS required
- NRP required
- AWHONN Intermediate required
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification preferred/required per unit expectations
