WCS Healthcare is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN  to join a high‑performing L&D  team at a respected hospital in Worcester, MA. The ideal clinician is confident in fetal monitoring, labor management, emergency response, and supporting providers throughout the childbirth process.

Job Description:


Compensation : $69.19 - $74.19

Job Function:
  • Shift: 36 hrs/ 3x12 Nights 6:45a- 7:15p EOW/EOH
  • Assess and categorize patients into the appropriate level  of care  
  • Apply and interpret external fetal monitoring, including fetal heart tracings and uterine activity  
  • Implement timely  interventions based on fetal heart rate patterns and maternal condition  
  • Identify  and respond to obstetric emergencies, escalating to providers appropriately  
  • Administer medications safely in accordance with  the Five Rights  and infection‑control standards  
  • Perform pain assessments and reassess per clinical guidelines  
  • Assist  physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care  

Job Requirements:


Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience with prior travel experience required
  • 3 years strongly preferred
  • Experience floating between Labor & Delivery and Postpartum required
  • Previous Mother/Baby and LDRP experience required
  • EPIC charting experience required
  • Active Massachusetts RN License required
  • BLS required
  • ACLS required
  • NRP required
  • AWHONN Intermediate required
  • Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification preferred/required per unit expectations
