WCS Healthcare is seeking an experienced  Post‑Anesthesia Nurse (PACU  RN) for a contract assignment at a prestigious hospital in Boston, MA. This role is ideal for a nurse who excels in fast‑paced recovery environments and provides safe, compassionate care to patients emerging  from anesthesia.

Compensation : $56.29 - $61.29

Job Function:

  • Shift and schedule: Night Shifts | 36 hours per week (Three 12-hour shifts) | 7:00pm - 7:30am.
  • Provide individualized, emotionally supportive post‑operative nursing care  in accordance with  anesthesiologist and attending physician instructions.
  • Monitor and document patient vital signs, airway status, pain level, and level of consciousness per  PACU  protocols.
  • Assist  anesthesiologists and attending physicians during post‑operative recovery as needed.
  • Document all nursing activities thoroughly, including writing a discharge note once the anesthesiologist clears the patient for transfer.
  • Ensure  all  PACU  equipment and supplies are stocked, functional, and readily available.
  • Maintain a safe environment and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.

Job Requirements:


Job Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

  • 3+ years RN experience

  • 1+ year travel PACU experience

  • 1+ year Academic Medical Center experience

  • Licensure: Active RN license (state‑specific)

  • Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS
