Our client, a leading financial services firm, is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer. This role focuses on Microsoft enterprise technologies, automation, hybrid cloud infrastructure, reliability, and security, with an emphasis on designing and operating large-scale environments.

Compensation : $45 - $50

Job Function:

  • Design and manage hybrid infrastructure across on-prem environments and Microsoft Azure
  • Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
  • Manage identity and access using Azure Active Directory (Entra ID)
  • Automate infrastructure and processes using PowerShell and Infrastructure-as-Code (ARM/Bicep)
  • Monitor system performance, security, and availability across the environment
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and act as a senior escalation point
  • Support endpoint management with Intune and Autopilot
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to system improvements and modernization initiatives

Job Requirements:

  • Strong experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering within Microsoft environments
  • Expertise with virtualization platforms, preferably VMware
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation
  • Experience supporting security initiatives including vulnerability remediation and infrastructure hardening
  • Proven ability to lead infrastructure or cloud modernization projects end-to-end
  • Strong Windows Server and hybrid cloud experience with exposure to Azure (Azure Arc, Automation, Monitor a plus)
  • Experience in regulated environments such as financial services or insurance preferred
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally, manage multiple priorities, and operate independently
